This saves time by categorizing data important to specific job functions and/or task. It also eliminates clutter and removes unwanted or unneeded information from view. Here are some things your users control to create a custom dashboard experience:
Tabs - Are you responsible for different departments or have different tasks which require different metrics? iGuide allows you to divide your panels into tabs for easy identification and sorting.
Columns - Within tabs, users can place panels into the columns of their choosing. Panels can be placed in a specific order within a column and column widths can be adjusted to fit certain data. Between columns and tabs you have complete control over where you see your metrics.
Graphs - Each panel can be either a grid or chart with 34 different 2D and 3D chart types to choose from.
Panels - Each panel has different controls that allow you to sort chart columns, group on chart columns, filter date ranges, and apply totals. This flexibility will allow you to quickly view data in a variety of ways all from the same data.
Conditional Formatting - Taking management by exception to the next level, iGuide allows you to customize alerts so you can see at a glance when numbers have breached acceptable levels. Want certain items to show red when they're too high, and others green when they're too low? iGuide allows you complete flexibility in determining colors, fonts, and when they appear.
Themes - iGuide comes with 13 different color themes. Each user can choose an interface color scheme that appeals to them.

By employing a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor, creating custom reports has never been easier! Simply drag and drop fields into a page, change font sizes and colors, and apply any desired filters. For more technical users, iGuide allows you to insert VBA code for enhanced functionality.
Do you run reports with the same criteria over and over? iGuide allows you to create reports with the criteria stored in the report to quickly give you the information you want to see everytime you run the report. For reports that share the same criteria withthe exception of a single variable, such as location or profit center, iGuide allows you to apply filters and criteria on the fly. Filters are applied in powerful, but easy-to-use manner, giving you the upmost flexibility without having to master a programming language.

Summit XDBC offers real-time access to Summit data. Summit XDBC is a ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) solution that can be purchased alongside the dashboard to deliver this additional functionality. If real-time access is not necessary, and increased performance is desired, iGuide offers MySQL Data Warehousing. Data is pulled from your system at specified intervals and then ‘warehoused’ in a SQL server. The greater the size of the data set and complexity of the queries you wish to run, the more this option becomes desirable since it provides the quickest display of information. If true real-time data transfer is not of concern, this is the connection method we recommend, due to its speed and lower operating cost.

iGuide's web-based administrator portal gives you complete control over who has access to the iGuide. Allow only the users you choose to enter the system to view data. More specifically, an administrator can give or restrict individual panel access to a user or a group of users. This ensures sensitive data like payroll and financials are kept from prying eyes.
